WOD 02 04 13

A. 6 x (Hi-Hang PS + Mid-Thigh PS into OHS + Mid Thigh Squat Snatch) AHAP.  Rest exactly 2 minutes between sets.  *Beginners: Establish a 3RM OHS

B. 1 min ME Shuttle Run*

-Rest 2 min-

AMRAP 6 min:

1 Snatch Attempt

5 Over the Box Burpees (30″/24″)

-Rest 2 min-

1 min ME Shuttle Run*

*For the shuttle run (indoors), some portion of each hand must touch outside the rubber mats

Score the first run, total weight snatched, and second run.

Post times, loads, and comments.

    I tried to come at Jay today as my target. Silly me.
    A. Worked up to 145 on the snatch complex. (So close, yet so faraway from his 150.)
    B. 9?, 620*, 7?
    155×4 (missed 155 twice and said the eff word 155 times)*

    I always love a snatch attempt WOD 🙂
    Row 1000m for warmup
    did some FS and Presses for strength
    shuttle run 1: 1 and 1/4 (completed the entire thing once and made it to the first line and back a second time) not sure how the distance of my driveway compared to the distance in the gym but I think they are pretty close
    AMRAP: 528lbs (made 6 snatches at 88lbs) if id of only had about another 3 seconds I would have made a 7th, but the timer went off just as i was pulling…
    shuttle run 2: 1 and 1/4
    finished with some T2B and pistol work, then a final 1000m row
