WOD 02 05 14

A. Establish a 3RM Deadlift*

*If you’ve been with us for <2 months, work to a heavy T&G 5RM.  Focus on form to stay injury free!

B. 10 minutes on Double Unders to establish a max consecutive set.

C. FT [C12]

150 KB Swings (53/35).  Scale to 100 reps/Rus if needed.  Each time the KB is put down, perform 3 burpees.

And another one joins the club!

Comments: What tips do you have for people starting out learning Double Unders?

Post times, loads, and comments.

Lei yelled at me for posting this in my nutrition challenge thing instead of here:

A: 205×3 DL, felt like I had some room to go. I’m starting to get less scared of DLs for actual strength work — I just dont like them in timed WODs where I forget to focus on what I’m doing and hurt myself
B: 4. bleh. DUs weren’t working for me
    C: 9:42 @ 35lb. I should have used a heavier kettlebell; the first 50 were unbroken

And congrats to Lydia for getting that chinup post-WOD!
