Only Burger, always. I prefer simple and delicious. There is the right amount of fat content and I go American cheese. LTO Mustard, now I want one NOOOOOOO.

      False. Nothing tops Cookout.

(is someone ashamed to admit their love of Cookout?)

Haha no. That was me. I posted from my phone so I forgot to add my name. There’s no shame about Cookout here.

Forget Durham, chuck’s in downtown raleigh is where it’s at.

The best burger I’ve had in RTP is the Cheeeesy Burger from Jake’s Wayaback Burgers…. it’s a Burger, done grilled cheese style (toasted inside-out buns with 4 slices of cheese). Second best so far would go to BurgerFi in Cary.

its in Cary but…Tribeca Tavern is my favorite

I had a half pound burger at Tobacco Road that went: 1/4 patty, dollop pimento cheese, 1/4 patty, dollop pimento cheese.
    made me feel things.

      You had me at dollop.

How timely this question!! We have some friends from the UK in town this weekend and we were discussing this exact topic.
Jer claimed Bull City Burger and Brewery was best while I could only attest to Zinburger at South Point.
    Any others??

I stand corrected. Jeremy said that Dain’s Place on 9th street was the best burger in Durham. My apologies.

      • 03 13 2014 at 3:11 pm

        I second this

    • 03 13 2014 at 4:53 pm

Try Bad Daddy’s Burger Bar in Raleigh

  • 03 13 2014 at 6:28 pm

Only Burger WAS the best burger. The new king is Town Hall Burger & Beer over by Southpoint. I survive on hamburgers, so I’ve tried them all.

Looks like I need to go to lunch with Daniel.
Five Guys great fast food burger followed closely by Cookout (The secret is wrapping it in foil)
    Williams Gourmet Kitchen.
Cow fish in North Hills is great.
    Only Burger
Only one I can’t agree with is Bull City. I think it’s good but not great.

Any time Sean – i work from home – always looking for lunch buddies!

      • 03 14 2014 at 8:02 pm

Sold. I work from home most of the time – sounds like it’s burger lunch time.

Only Burger, Bull City, and Zin Burger (I some are haters but I’ve had two really good, perfectly cooked burgers). Oh… and Eron makes a really mean burger when he grinds his own meat (heh).
    Today was a good day.
    A. Red band
    B. Check
    C. 15:15 w/ 15# dumbbell PP, and blue + purple bands for pull ups. My rope kept flying off the handle and I spent a lot of time futzing with that.
    D. Did negatives. Time to get back on the pull up train! And I spent some time with dunders since we haven’t exactly been friends lately, I think we worked some things out and are back on good terms.

    Ted Montana
    City beverage
My mom makes a great homemade burger. Beef and sausage combined
