For pistol work, use a pole or band if you need assistance. If you’re looking for a challenge, try…
    A) Weighted pistol (KB in one hand on shoulder)
    B) OH Pistol (barbell)
    C) OH Pistol (KB)
    D) Pistol box jump
    E) Pistol box jump into pistol landing

…of course, these options are listed in the same sequence as the “don’t try this at home” rating scale.

    A. Kept weight low (115#) to work on form — my cleans actually looked pretty good today. (“Throw everything violently backward.” Check.)
    B. Just did plain ol’ pistols. (The pistol box jumps would have required a skin graft.)
    C. 6+20

      …or a knee replacement.

      A: 165#
      B: check
C: 7+19. Rocked through all the wallballs quick enough, got hung up on the DU’s

Where were all my 4:30 peeps? It was just me and Mitchell today!
    A. Did half at 83# and half at 93#. Got some good technique and mobility tips for shoulder pain I’ve been having with the jerk. I was keeping my elbows out too wide after cleaning.
    B. Found out I can do some consecutive pistols on my right leg now! Left side is still a a bit weak/uncoordinated.
    C. 8+1 Rx. I’ve decided my new least favorite thing is the combo of WB & DUs. WBs were pretty much all at 10′ though which is a big improvement over the past few months. Thanks Mitchel for doing this with me!!
