Alright folks! It looks like we have 2 competitions in June that we’ll be gearing up for!
June 7: Capital City Games (Rx Female Individual = Carly)
June 8: Capital City Games (Rx Male/Male team = Roger/Matt)
June 21: FireStarter Challenge: (Individuals: Matthew, David, Revanth, Wade, Satana)
Let’s make sure we save the date so we can cheer our folks on!
thanks chef! today I noticed I really need to work on my clean pull from the ground (when I noticed I was trying my PR from a hang)! great timing!
Actually Wade, you *do* need work on the pull from the ground, but really, you need A LOT MORE work to be fast from the hang.
practice practice practice… then, more practice
I’m slightly disappointed that it’s not bench press Thursday.
Can we superset bench with A?
maybe we should just superset bench press with A, B, C, &. D)! or (A,B,B, & D)
I’m thinking of scaling the rope climb in the WOD to a set of bench.
and by “between the ears” does he mean my hair?

I personally know 2 people who have used Vibrams extensively in their quest for barefoot running and 1 ended up with a stress fracture and the other had to take an extended leave from long distance running.
Personally, I bought my first pair in 2008 and used them for various things including CrossFit. I found that while using them for most movements was pretty harmless, running in them on any surface other than grass resulted in pain that I decided not to ignore. I stopped using them a few months later and now stick with my low profile shoes. I’m glad I wasn’t stubborn enough to ignore what my body was telling me and still train today with no foot issues.
I wish people wouldn’t ignore what their eyeballs are telling them. These are hideous boos.
Totally agree.
I like how Phil is watching Misty do all the work. He’s such a great coach I’m sure he’s just motivating her to work harder!!

I participated in a study involving 5 fingers about 5 years ago. Product is unsafe and will cause damage to muscle skeletal system when used in everyday activity. Now I use my vibrams for rafting, water activities.
I was part of that study too…just unbeknownst to me.
I don’t think I’ve adapted yet. Still scared of heavy things and breathing hard.
