WOD 05 26 14

“Murph”

For time:
1 mile Run
100 Pull-ups
200 Push-ups
300 Squats
1 mile Run

In memory of Navy Lieutenant Michael Murphy, 29, of Patchogue, N.Y., who was killed in Afghanistan June 28th, 2005.

Partition the pull-ups, push-ups, and squats as needed. Start and finish with a mile run. If you’ve got a twenty pound vest or body armor, wear it.

*We will have the option to do this in teams or solo.

    This was my first Murph. One shoulder was still pretty unhappy with me from the Squat/OHS day last week. And maybe all the lounging this weekend at Regionals 🙂

    71:25 unweighted Rx. Happy with that. Happy I finished.

    55:14 with red+blue, knees, and rowing 1500 m (my arthritic knees are not too fond of running).
    Not the same as 48:53 from last year. But I’m just happy to be doing it at all.
