Guys,
Just wanted to give everyone a heads up that today will be Misty’s last official day coaching for a few months as she nears her delivery date!
She’ll be back coaching in 2013 after she and Seth get their schedules stabilized with their newborn.
We’ll miss you Misty!
;_;
Must have been hungry this morning since I totally ate a wall ball on double squats. Direct hit to the right eye! Maybe one day when I am more coordinated I can walk away from a workout without pain…I am pretty sure neither will ever happen.
Don’t worry, Carroll – we’ve all had the McWallBall for a snack – especially the double squat wallball variety!
haha! We might have to break out the safety goggles
I forgot what Misty looked like before she made people! Where’s the rest of her in this pic? Hurry back please.
me too D! I saw this picture and was almost in shock b/c I barely remember looking like that!
A1. 325×8
A2. 10,9,8 (ME)
B. Did a few of these – did not complete full 2×10
C. 7:00
After thinking about the metcon – I ended my first set of thrusters at 15 reps, did my T2B, and then went again, but I only got 7, and then downhill from there. I think I should have not gone to “fail” on the first set, but rather, held back a bit and incorporated the T2B into my “break strategy” more so I could recover faster and be more consistent. Like do 5×10 or 7×7 (8)…. food for thought for afternoon classes….
Thank you for sharing your findings, good sir.
A1: 10 @ 157
A2: 5, 4, 4 (ME)
C: 6:20 rx
note: Kim is a monster pulluper.
A1. 13@235
A2. L4(A): 18@(bw+10), 12@(bw+10), 10@(bw+15)
Didn’t do anything else cause I got too excited watching everybody else crush this thing. Shout out to Liz, Cheryl, and Gerald for showing improvements in their thruster technique today!
A2. 10, 9, 6 BW pullups, normal grip
Otherwise, I basically did a lot of mobility today after some stern words from my low back. One of the more unpleasant activities involved placing the “peanut” (two lacrosse balls taped together) under my thoracic spine, laying on it, then letting a 45 lb plate just sit on my chest while gently crying and oscillating.
