Here it is folks!  Start of the CrossFit Games Open 2013!  If you haven’t registered yet, you still can!  Go here!

Workout 13.1

17 minute AMRAP of:
40 Burpees
30 Snatch, 75 / 45 lbs
30 Burpees
30 Snatch, 135 / 75 lbs
20 Burpees
30 Snatch, 165 / 100 lbs
10 burpees
Max rep Snatch, 210 / 120 lbs

Let’s get after it folks!  Remember we will be running this WOD today and again on Saturday morning at 9AM and 10AM!

Don’t forget folks – after you complete this workout, make sure to go online and submit your score!

 

Guys – please note there is a tiebreaker rule in affect:

“This workout also introduces a new tiebreak system. Your score will be total reps like in years past. Now, your time at the end of your last completed set of snatches will be used to rank you against all the athletes who also got your same score. See the Standards and Workout Demo for more information.”

          It just occurred to me that each class will run two heats of the metcon so that everyone will have a judge.

    So, what if we are planning on WODing today and Saturday? Do we just do this twice?

      You have the option to do that! Another option would be to talk to the coach about possibly making up a workout from earlier this week if you missed one today and then hitting 13.1 on Saturday.

    Excited that it’s Games time again. I was relatively pleased yesterday, a 75lb snatch would have been a minor miracle so I was ok with 100 reps. Nice job to my 5:30 partner, Lori!

    Ended up with 114 reps. I don’t remember my snatch time though. Something in the 6-minute range.

      Guys, make sure you write down your tiebreaker time because you will need it to submit your score online!
