WOD 02 18 13

A. 25 minutes for:

  • Front Squat (5@75%, 5@75%) then
  • Pause Front Squats*.  (3@65%, 2@70%, 2@70%).  Use these % as a guideline only.  Adjust based on difficulty.

B. Death by Burpee/WB:

1st min: 1 Burpee.  2nd min: 2 Wallballs.  3rd min: 3 Burpees…

Scale so you reach at least 10 wallballs.  (Adv may start @ 5 Burpees)

Post times, loads, and comments.

      That’s a cat call I never get, believe that! lol. I would like to know how to stop lifting with my eyes though. My eyes hurt just looking at that. oh the pressure!

    Awesome time at the 6:30PM today.

    I got to catch the end of the 5:30PM wod and I have to make a few observations:
    1. Holy crap I love how everyone was hitting depth on the wallballs like it was THEIR FRIGGIN JOB. (Including our new Elements grads Matt and Courtney)
    2. Holy crap Matt – 19 rounds and change? Once you figure out that the optimal position for the ball is not your forehead you’re going to be even more ridiculous. Joking – sorta 🙂
    3. Lisa_IS_back! 18+rounds? Pssshhhh yea!

    Awesome day. Big turnout, great form, lots of hard work and smiles. We call that a Laugh and Lift.
    Anyway,
    A. Worked up to 205 lb pause front squats. Unpleasant! Also, today only my left butt cheek is sore?
    B. I dunno, 12 rounds, Rx? As I was telling Jordan yesterday, as I was getting to the later rounds it felt like I was experience major organ failure. Or maybe it was just a run-of-the mill tummy cramp.
