Alright folks – looking for bigtime PA’s and gym records to be set today!
Whatcha got?
OK- 1st post in like two months or something. Feels good.
Front Sqaut: 225# (10 lb PA)
Row: 1:45:7 (8 sec PA. BTWs, I am a horrible rower, so I was really happy with this time)
Also, got pistols for the first time a few weeks back. Morning mob continues to represent 😉
Right at this moment, what is Ian thinking?
I think Ian is wonder why $ is so creepy. And I think $ is saying the only way you can hurt our team in the open is by NOT participating. so. lets. get. it.
Oh hey D$….
Hmmm… I think D$ is correct on both assumptions. That’s why I’m joining the open again this year, and will be sure not to let myself get photgraphed with any kind of smile while standing behind other atheletes. Especially that traitor to the morning mob, Dirty D.
It was at the request of my wife. You know the things we do for love. Wait, that’s not what I meant. I meant “the things we do for sex.”
lol, oh dear
First day feeling better after having the bubons (don’t worry I’m no longer contagious!). Felt good to get back in the box. Still dealing with some lower back pain, so took it easy on squats and rowing. 6:56 on the metcon with burpees and 25lb. Congrats to all the 4:30ers on the PRs!
Holy crap, there were a lot of new 1RMs and PR rowing times today.
Probably a thousand.
A. 275×1 (5lb PR after about 5 total warm up front squats)
B. 1:39.3 (1 second PR despite mad tummy cramps)
C. 8:4? with burpees
D. Elements WOD with our newest members and Kim.
Yea – TONS of PA’s and I saw some bumping on the records!
Shout out to Steve who rowed a nasty sub 1:30 500, and to Seamus for a 305 Front Squat. HULK SKRONG!
A. Was not too hopeful for a PR because my legs were pretty sore but gave it a go anyway. 265 felt great, and 285 (PR) went up easy also. Hit 300 and listened to Phil’s wreckless advice and went up to 317 and barely missed it.
B. 1:33.1. Not a PR but I’m satisfied. It’s rowing, and I will probably always hate it.
C. 7:57 Rx. Wasted a ton of time resting to go u/b but ditched that idea on round 3 when I couldn’t hold onto the pullup bar.
I can’t help but feel proud of everybody for pushing hard today on those Front Squats. And shout out to Lori for staying mentally tough on her fight with that bar!
goal: get better at posting…
not a pr day for me…front squat 230 (15# shy of my best)
500m- 1:56.4 (this is a pr, i’m not proud of it but still..shaved a second off yay)
4:38 doing burpees for the metcon..experiencing some shoulder/collar bone pain
Everybody did a great job pushing themselves, and pushing Jacob to not give up on a wod!
breaking news…PR’s happening. Please note the following:
A. 165
B.1:44
Self hug.
C. 6:58 rx (couldn’t do the pull-ups unbroken)
