Back Squat- 187# x6 (with belt)
Jackie- 12:06 Rx (I asked Kris what a good time to shoot for, and she casually replied 8 minutes. Obviously I was a “tad” over. The thrusters were tough on legs after the 1K row. Broke them up into 5 sets of ten. I didn’t break too much, but not all that close to 8 minutes either. But I can see Kris posting a time of 8:20 or something like that. I told her she had to post her time today, so I could check it tonight. Small class this AM, but i enjoyed the intimacy.

It was small this morning because Troy and Seamus showed up this afternoon and tried to ruin my rep with the 4:30 crew!
ALSO: I just found out it’s National Mean Girls Day! Ugh, why didn’t I know about this earlier?!? I have the sneaky suspicion that Kris and I could have had a decent length conversation using only Mean Girls quotes 🙂
Wait until Phase 2 when we show up at your job asking you to come back to Mornings….. Plus – Rep? Really?? I was just there to Chill with Phil and get my Gangnam Style on….
Getting kipping and then dead hang pullups were by far two of my happiest PA moments, double unders being a close 3rd. They are close, just keep dropping bands & work on negatives and next thing you know, bam!
Back Squat – 180# x 6, not a huge fan of the high rep back squat, ouch!
“Jackie” – 11:01 Rx, took some advise from Kris on the thrusters (25 + 15 + 10) which worked pretty well. Not a fan of rowing in a metcon either Snarles but you had a pretty rockin’ time so you can’t really complain 😉

Jackie went to 14:23 with red+blue on the pull-ups (I, too, dream of the day when I can do a pull-up).
TGUs were awkward as usual, even with a light-ish 12# dumbbell…

98lb x 6 BS. 13:57 on the metcon with blue+purple band pull ups. TGUs were messy, had not done those before.
Blue and purple means it will soon be just blue!
C*, TGUs are an acquired taste, kind of like snatches and double unders. They’ll make sense some day.
